This is what is at stake in Rojava – one of the very few examples of a society that has been self-managing public affairs through grassroots decision-making bodies like communes, assemblies and councils. That’s why it is important to give our fullest solidarity and support to this unique radically democratic paradigm, so that it can continue being this beacon of hope against bureaucracy and capitalism.

Which is the nature of the communes and how their work? The communes are placed in each neighborhood and thanks to them the everyday life of citizens is organized directly.
